Welcome to 'Aging is not a 4-letter word,' a blog dedicated to recognizing aging is happening to everyone and we need to stop thinking about it in a negative way. It's for sure better than the alternative!  

I recently retired from working in the Senior Living Industry.  For 40+ years I represented some amazing lifestyle communities and focused on making our resident's lives great.  I thought I understood what people older than me thought and felt. 

I'm just starting to experience the world beyond the "earning years" and am realizing there is so much more going on in all of our heads regarding what "growing older" means to all of us.
